Expert presentation - FAB FINDS:
Glocal views on Design Personalization India is more a cluster of countries than a single one, in many ways. This is reflected in its design and architecture across regions as well. So, while global styles of structural systems, design and architecture are used across regions, they need to meet local needs- a large demand for globalisation for a diversified India. We discuss the challenges of accommodating all the region specific features- moisture, soil, climate, temperature, cultural preferences, while designing a building. So it makes it imperative for us to know the local views on design personalisation by an expert who has worked glocally. The expert would give a case study of the local region to be discussed and resolved in the next session by the attendees.
