This is inclusive session involving and engaging delegates to come and think together as small groups (each round table of 6 delegates is a group). It is created and crafted to bring forth creative ideas and innovations by optimizing texture in built space. Here each group will be provided a Texture Prop. Collectively the group will be provided 15 minutes to discuss on what this texture means to them, the positioning of that texture in the design space and how can it be optimized in built space. Post internal discussion, each group will go up the stage and present their ‘i Design’ narrative for 5 minutes. This will be strictly minuted 5 minutes where each team will have to narrate innovative ways to optimize the provided texture to the group. The Next Panel experts for ‘What Design Means To Me’ will be the reviewing panel. This panel will take up important points in their panel discussion as well. Each group should have an eclectic mix of materials professional, design professionals, Builder, Architect, consultant, sustainability expert etc. We will have an observer (who are consultant/experts) in every group so that the insights on how the A&D eco system deciphers design and texture, the notes of all the observer will be later compiled to create a dossier for the delegates which will be mailed post-summit as a knowledge kit on Deciphering Design By Texture.
